This module allows site managers, content managers, and group managers to configure a welcome message. This welcome message is sent as a private message to your new group members giving them a warm welcome.
Users that join a group (through anyway) should get this welcome message. This should happen on the platform, in form of a private message, as this way we can guarantee the user can get back to the group managers for questions as well as deliver the information without relying on the user to check his/her emails in between. This feature is optional per group, and the welcome message needs to be enabled, each individual user will get the message separately.
