🌻 Open Social Summit on the 25th of May, 2023

We will bring together the community managers of mission-driven organizations to discuss community management.

Topics such as: Is busy the real reason why members don’t post their content? What actions can be taken to build an active community?

The 1-day in-person Summit takes place at WickedGrounds in Amsterdam on May 25th. From onboarding to engaging the community members, we will have speakers sharing insights into strategies and actions to build an active and healthy community.

Besides cutting-edge content, there will be opportunities for peer-to-peer networking with experts in community management from diverse mission-driven organizations as well as the people behind Open Social.

Organizations attending and speaking are amongst others, the United Nations, the European Commission, WAGGGS, FMO, Oxfam, Greenpeace and Amnesty.

🌇 Location + How To Get There

We have chosen Amsterdam as a well-to-reach location for most of our clients. WickedGrounds can be reached easily by public transport as well with a short walk. It is best to use the public transport options on Maps.

Sustainability is a core value for us at Open Social and for our event partners at WickedGrounds as we try to harm nature as little as possible. This is why they have plant-based catering, local and sustainable products, green energy, minimal packaging, optimized waste management and carbon neutral transport.

🌃 Social program

After the event there will be an evening social event in Amsterdam from 18:30 onwards.

🌱 Dietary restrictions

We have plant-based catering throughout the entire day. We will send out a survey before the event to gather any additional dietary restrictions to make sure we got you all covered!

❌❌❌ Where to stay?

The event is easy to reach with public transport from in and around Amsterdam, using a (optional) train, tram/bus, or/and short walk. We don't have a fixed agreement with a certain hotel but we do recommend using the Travelyst Sustainable filters if available, such as on Booking.com
