Content & Groups on Organization Profiles

This chapter explains who can add Groups and Content to Organization Profiles and how, as well as how to showcase the groups and content on the Organization Profile itself.

Note: The Organization Profiles are not a part of the default Open Social product but can be ordered as an extension module.

Who can add content and groups to Organization Profiles?

Any approved Organization Member can add content and groups to Organization Profiles they are a member of, as well as Organization Managers, Content Managers and Site Managers can do so.

How to add content and groups to Organization Profiles?

Content and groups (including extensions) can be added to an Organization Profile and it must be done individually per content. The author/creator of the content, as well as CM+, can add an organization to content when creating or editing the content, similarly like adding a content tag.

For example, if you want to add a new event to an Organization Profile, you should create a new event, fill in all the details, and under Settings search to select an Organization. This works just like assigning Content tags where you can search for an organization. In the scenario that you want to add existing content or groups, simply edit the content to add the Organization and save it.

How to showcase content and groups on an Organization Profile?

Depending on the Layout of the Organization Profile, the content or groups might automatically appear in the Custom Content List Blocks. To Feature Content or change the layout, you can edit the profile just like a Dashboard.
